Partnership Will Supply Medical Cannabis Extracts To Czech Republic & Switzerland

Global medicinal cannabis company Clever Leaves Holdings Inc. CLVR CLVRW recently completed its inaugural shipment of medical cannabis extracts from Colombia to its partner, Astrasana Holding AG in Switzerland.

This milestone marks Clever Leaves' entry into the Swiss market where Astrasana holds its own position as a medical cannabis distributor.

According to Andres Fajardo, co-founder and CEO of Clever Leaves, the company’s “first commercial shipment of medical cannabis extracts to Astrasana in Switzerland marks a significant step towards our goal of expanding patient access to high-quality medical cannabis across Europe and beyond.”

Supply Agreement: According to a press release, the strategic partnership between Clever Leaves and Astrasana, under the established Supply Agreement, ensures a consistent and dependable supply of medical cannabis extracts at competitive prices.

Emerging In The European MMJ Market

In addition, Clever Leaves and Astrasana are making preparations for their first shipment of medical cannabis extracts to the Czech Republic. Astrasana, equipped with pharmaceutical operations and its own specialized pharmacy for medical cannabis, stands ready to facilitate the distribution and sale of these extracts within the country, per the release.

This strategic alliance and supply agreement between Clever Leaves and Astrasana allows the former to extend its presence in new European markets and also solidifies its position as a leading global provider of medical cannabis.

Notably, Switzerland and the Czech Republic recently experienced legislative changes favoring medical cannabis, making them key players in the emerging European cannabis industry.
