- Prudential PLC PUK announced the appointment of Ben Bulmer as chief financial officer.
- Bulmer will succeed James Turner, who resigned today from the post and will be available for four months to support a smooth transition.
- Turner is leaving the company following an investigation into a Code of Conduct issue related to a recent recruitment situation.
- As per the investigation, the ex-CFO fell short of the PUK’s high standards.
- “Our Code of Conduct sets out that we expect all our colleagues to adhere to the highest professional standards and behaviors,” said Anil Wadhwani, CEO.
- The newly appointed executive, Bulmer, had previously served as CFO of Prudential Corporation Asia and held several leadership positions across the finance function in Asia and London since joining in 1997.
- Price Action: PUK shares are trading lower by 4.48% at $26.88 premarket on the last check Wednesday.
