Discord is a voice, video, and text chat app that came on the market in 2015. Since then, the instant messaging social platform has taken off. This year is expected to see 514 million Discord users, which would be a 16.02% increase from 2022. The platform is estimated to have an estimated 196.2 million active users per month in 2023, which is expected to grow 32.11% by 2025.
The app first took off in the gaming community where video game players could gather and communicate online. One Wired article described the unique Discord experience as “It’s like Zoom, but more flexible and fun. It’s Slack, but without that feeling that your boss is always lurking. Facebook, without an algorithm that prioritizes the types of posts that turned your aunt into a racist. Twitter, without the whims of a mercurial overlord. You know, different.” The growth that Discord has witnessed in the past few years is undeniable. The app is no longer just an extension of the gaming community – Discord has communities and servers that focus on music, culture, politics, art, finance, dating and more.
Asset Entities Inc. ASST has taken notice of Discord’s growth and has built a business around it. The company is a web 3.0 multimedia technology company that provides social media marketing and content delivery. Its primary focus is Discord, although the company also delivers consumer-engaging content on other social media platforms like TikTok. Some individuals and companies may want to leverage Discord but don’t have the experience or expertise – that’s where Asset Entities comes in. They help design, develop and manage servers for communities on Discord.
The company currently offers three major services. Their AE360DDM service was created to Design, Develop, and Manage Discord community servers. The Social Influencer Network, known as SiN, is a service that helps execute social media influencer and online marketing campaigns. And lastly, they have their own Discord servers that also serve as models of the services they offer.
The company has seen success creating real estate, crypto, and stock education and entertainment communities for Gen Z that are “digital natives” but don’t yet have the financial literacy to excel in those fields. Asset Entities boasts over 225,000 members across their Discord servers and the company says it has the #1 server for Real Estate with over 50,000 members. The company has compared the business model of its “360DDM suite of services” for Discord with GoDaddy GDDY when GoDaddy launched during the dotcom era in the 1990s with securing domain names and website hosting. Asset Entities currently has no other major competitors and could be poised to become a leader in the Discord DDM space. As more and more companies see the value of platforms like Discord, companies like Asset Entities that help others excel in this space seem positioned to become, and to remain, an integral aspect of marketing to modern consumers.
