Ethereum Drops But Remains Above $1,800; Sandbox, Pepe Among Top Losers

Bitcoin BTC/USD traded lower, with the cryptocurrency prices falling below the $26,000 level on Tuesday.

Ethereum ETH/USD also recorded losses, but traded above the key $1,800 mark this morning.

The SEC sued Coinbase for operating as an unregistered securities exchange, broker and clearing agency.

Quant QNT/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while The Sandbox SAND/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $1.08 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 4.4%. BTC was trading lower by 4.5% at $25,517 while ETH fell by around 3.3% to $1,806 on Tuesday.
