Nasdaq, Methanex And Other Big Stocks Moving Lower On Monday

U.S. stocks traded higher, with the Nasdaq Composite rising around 70 points on Monday. Here are some big stocks recording losses in today’s session.

  • Beneficient BENF shares fell 17% to $6.87.
  • Chijet Motor Company, Inc. CJET dropped 11.2% to $4.04.
  • Nasdaq, Inc. NDAQ fell 10.9% to $51.53 after the company announced the acquisition of Adenza for $10.5 billion in cash and stock.
  • Sandstorm Gold Ltd. SAND dropped 10.1% to $4.6550.
  • Jiayin Group Inc. JFIN fell 10% to $5.42.
  • Omeros Corporation OMER dipped 9.9% to $6.76. Omeros said that the slides presented in the "late-breaker" session at the 2023 European Hematology Association Congress in Frankfurt, Germany are now available on Omeros’ website.
  • Blue Apron Holdings, Inc. APRN declined 8.4% to $8.20. Blue Apron reported closing of transaction with FreshRealm to execute its asset-light model and focus on its direct-to-consumer business.
  • Methanex Corporation MEOH dropped 7.9% to $39.99. Scotiabank downgraded Methanex from Sector Outperform to Sector Perform.
  • Core Laboratories Inc. CLB fell 7.4% to $23.06.
  • Materialise NV MTLS dropped 7.2% to $8.93.
  • Tellurian Inc. TELL fell 5.5% to $1.20.
  • Ternium S.A. TX fell 5.1% to $40.19. B of A Securities downgraded Ternium from Buy to Neutral and lowered the price target from $56 to $47.
