Want A Personalized AI? Google's Project Tailwind To Open Early Access To AI Notebook Soon

Alphabet Inc.'s GOOGL Google previewed an upcoming project last month that would give users access to private and personalized artificial intelligence (AI). Named Project Tailwind, users in the US can now sign up to gain early access to this AI-first notebook.

What Happened: Users in the US can sign up to gain access to Google's AI-first notebook, Project Tailwind, as initially spotted by 9to5Google.

Tentatively named Project Tailwind, this is the latest in Google's efforts to bring AI to its wide range of web services. Project Tailwind allows users to use AI to synthesize information from multiple sources and deliver an output based on this information.

Why This Could Be Useful: From Google's preview and description, Project Tailwind would give everyone access to their own private and personal AI, ensuring their data remains sandboxed within their account.

For instance, students could feed their notes, thesis, assignments, and other inputs into Tailwind and get it to generate a summary and conclusion based on this data.

It could also be a personal tutor, and users could ask it questions based on the inputs provided by them. A demo on the Project Tailwind page shows this exact scenario, with the AI model returning answers along with citations that users can use to cross-check the references.

Users can sign up for early access on the Project Tailwind page.
