Empowering Cannabis Microbusinesses In Missouri: Amendment 2 Consultants And Show-Me Organics Join Forces

In a move that promises to bolster the Missouri cannabis sector, cannabis consultancy Amendment 2 Consultants (A2C), is joining forces with local cannabis company Show-Me Organics. This strategic partnership aims to support hopeful microbusiness applicants and streamline operations for eventual license winners.

John Payne, founder and managing member of A2C, said the firm has already helped clients "collectively win nearly 20 licenses in the new market."

A2C is expected to take the helm of the application process, providing compliance and strategic consulting services to ensure smooth backend operations. Concurrently, Show-Me Organics will extend its expertise to offer operational support for microbusiness licensees.

Boston Dickerson, founder and CEO of Show-Me Organics, commended A2C as an invaluable resource for numerous applicants during the 2019 application period. Speaking about the partnership, he stated, "We wanted to help people through this process, and this partnership allows us to offer guidance in cultivation, manufacturing, and marketing while also offering access to the best application consultants in Missouri."

The initiative targets the issuance of at least 48 microbusiness licenses in Missouri, which will be allocated through a lottery system. The fortunate license winners will receive comprehensive support from these industry leaders in areas spanning cultivation, manufacturing, marketing, and retail.

One of the hopeful microlicense applicants, Navy veteran Daniel Jones, best known for his weekly cannabis radio show as Waxy Brown, expressed his enthusiasm about the partnership. Jones shared, "This gives me the best opportunity to accomplish my goal of growing access to cannabis for veterans. I can think of no better way to do that than to team up with A2C—who have a proven track record of writing licenses—and Show-Me Organics—a leading operator with an eye on patients."
