Nikola Corp NKLA stock is trading lower Friday after it tweeted about a fire breaking out at its Phoenix headquarters affecting multiple battery electric trucks.
The company disclosed that no one was injured.
The EV maker suspected foul play as it saw a vehicle in the area of the affected trucks just before the incident, and an investigation is underway.

The company dispatched over 50 firefighters around 4:30 a.m. local time to the scene, where they found four trucks on fire, Bloomberg cites from an interview with Captain Todd Keller of the Phoenix Fire Department.
Last week Nikola shared plans to cut 270 jobs to reduce expenses. It also battled delivery challenges, executive turnover, and calls from its ousted founder, Trevor Milton, to replace leadership.
Price Action: NKLA shares traded lower by 7.61% at $1.28 on the last check Friday.
