Chinese electric vehicle maker XPeng Inc. XPEV plans to launch the XPENG G6 Ultra Smart Coupe SUV on June 29, the company's fifth smart electric vehicle model.
XPENG G6 is the first production model based on the company's next-generation smart electric platform architecture SEPA2.0.
The Guangzhou-headquartered EV maker commenced pre-sales of XPENG G6 on June 9 at RMB225,000 ($31,506). In 72 hours, the vehicle received more than 25,000 orders for it, the company said in a tweet.

The EV delivers the company's latest smart driving, intelligent cabin, superfast charging, and superior performance features.
XPENG G6 is equipped with the company's world-class 800V high-voltage SiC platform and 3C battery cells, perfast charging, and superior performance features.
The company can deliver a 755km max range – 300km with a 10-minute charge. It will be equipped with the latest XNGP as a final stage of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) before fully realizing autonomous driving.
On April 18, XPENG G6 debuted at Auto Shanghai 2023.

Price Action: XPEV shares are trading higher by 3.83% to $10.28 in the premarket session on the last check Monday.
