Nick Wlodyka, the senior vice president and general manager of EA SPORTS Football Club (FC), was excited about the extensive update and said: "In our most expansive EA SPORTS FIFA Women's World Cup update ever, we are excited to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the teams competing in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023, and to create an authentic in-game experience for players to lead their country to victory."
Wlodyka emphasized the company's commitment to women's football and its dedication to delivering on this promise to the EA SPORTS FC community.
The update also brings back the popular single-player Tournament Mode, which now supports local co-op multiplayer.
Additionally, in Kick Off mode, fans can engage in matches with friends locally or against CPU AI by choosing two teams to compete in Group Stage or Knockout Round matches.
To enhance the authenticity of the in-game experience, the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 update offers detailed features such as the inclusion of all 32 qualified nations, custom stadium dressings, cinematic elements, match presentations and dedicated commentary.
EA SPORTS has gained a reputation for accurately predicting the winners of the FIFA Men's World Cup tournaments, including the recent FIFA World Cup 2022. Using HyperMotion2 technology and updated FIFA Women's World Cup 2023 ratings, EA SPORTS conducted simulations of all 64 matches in the in-game Tournament mode.
Based on these simulations, EA SPORTS predicts the USA will emerge victorious in the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023, defeating Germany in the final.
The actual tournament is taking place from July 20 to August 20 in Australia and New Zealand.
