Mullen Automotive, Inc. MULN shares are trading lower on Friday. The company announced a commercial EV launch event to celebrate the completed production of the first Class 3 vehicles on Thursday.

Mullen Automotive announced a launch event which will be held on Aug. 24 at Mullen's commercial assembly plant in Tunica, Mississippi. The event will commemorate the completed production of the company's first Class 3 vehicles and will include factory tours, a company presentation, ride and drives and vehicle demonstrations.

"We are now in the final stages of vehicle production readiness and look forward to customer deliveries," said David Michery, CEO of Mullen Automotive. "We are excited to open up the Tunica assembly plant for tours and vehicle demonstrations."

Mullen's commercial assembly plant in Tunica is focused on production of Class 1 and Class 3 commercial EV vehicles and includes over 120,000 square feet and more than 100 acres.

MULN Price Action: According to Benzinga Pro, MULN shares are trading more than 6% lower at 14 cents at the time of publication.
