XPeng announced its entry into a long-term, strategic partnership with the Volkswagen Group. The Volkswagen Group will purchase 4.99% of XPENG’s outstanding shares at $15 per American depositary share, for a total consideration of approximately $700 million.

The company reported quarterly losses of 19 cents per share which beat the analyst consensus estimate of losses of 22 cents. The company reported quarterly sales of $42,000, which missed the analyst consensus estimate of $60,000.
