Virtual Dining Concepts LLC, a provider of delivery-only brands, has responded to the lawsuit filed by YouTube star MrBeast, its partner in the virtual restaurant MrBeast Burgers.

MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York alleging that the company’s poor quality control has damaged his reputation.

Donaldson says that customers have criticized the burgers, calling them "disgusting," "revolting," and "inedible," which led to negative publicity for him. Additionally, the lawsuit alleges that Virtual Dining Concepts used Donaldson's images without permission and registered MrBeast-related trademarks without his consent.

But now, the company based in Orlando, Florida, has responded to the 25-year-old content creator, saying that his complaint is "riddled with false statements and inaccuracies," and that MrBeast "will face the consequences in court."

VDC characterized the lawsuit as a "thinly-veiled attempt to distract from Mr. Donaldson’s and Beast Investments’ breaches of the agreements between the parties, including Mr. Donaldson’s recent false, disparaging statements regarding the MrBeast Burger brand and VDC."

According to the company, MrBeast tried to negotiate a new deal to serve his own financial interests, and when VDC refused, he filed a lawsuit in an attempt to sabotage the MrBeast Burger brand and terminate his existing contractual obligations.

"When VDC refused to accede to his bullying tactics to give up more of the company to him, he filed this ill-advised and meritless lawsuit seeking to undermine the MrBeast Burger," VDC's response to the YouTuber reads.

Moreover, VDC says that, although MrBeast claims his reputation has been damaged, his notoriety has grown significantly due, in part, to the popularity of the MrBeast Burger brand itself.

The document adds that Virtual Dining Concepts takes quality and customer reviews seriously and consistently strives to improve customer satisfaction.

The statement also refers to MrBeast as "having elevated greed over his word and the truth," adding that he "will face the consequences in court."
