Donald Trump Will Face Booking And Photography At Fulton Jail, Says County Sheriff: 'We Have A Mugshot Ready For You'

Fulton County Sheriff Pat Labat announced that if former president Donald Trump is indicted, he will be processed at the county jail like regular procedures, Atlanta News First reported.

Labat’s statement came during a news conference where he emphasized the department’s readiness for the potential indictments, unprecedented in American history.

“We are following our normal practices, so it doesn’t matter your status, we have a mug shot ready for you,” Labat said.

The Fulton County jail, currently under scrutiny for alleged deplorable conditions, is also the target of a U.S. Department of Justice civil investigation.

Security measures have been heightened around the Fulton County courthouse in anticipation of a “historical decision” by District Attorney Fani Willis regarding her investigation into Trump’s alleged attempts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results.

This news follows the third indictment against Trump by the federal government on allegations of attempting to overturn his legally certified defeat to Democrat Joe Biden in 2020.
