As part of his collaboration with Sony Group Corp's SONY PlayStation, four-time NBA champion LeBron James opened up about his close ties with the console.
In a promotional video submitted on his Twitter account, "King James" talked about the role of gaming in his life: "[It was] a huge part of my childhood and a huge part of my life now. It was a way to bring us together, have fun, enjoy and compete. We went at it a lot."
Moreover, the Los Angeles Lakers star revealed that his favorite genre of video games is sports games and that he enjoys playing Electronic Arts Inc's EA "Madden" the most.

"I've loved that game more than any game in my life. Nothing ever compares or comes close," the athlete emphasized.
James also disclosed how he manages to squeeze gaming into his tight schedule. "I'll just go downstairs before everybody wakes up, and play video games around five or six in the morning," he said. "It's my coffee hour."
Lebron's partnership with PlayStation, which launched on July 27, consists of a Limited Edition DualSense Wireless Controller ($79.99) and a PS5 Console Cover ($64.99).
When asked to describe his feelings from this collaboration, the winner of four MVP awards said: "This is super surreal."
And added: "I remember I was a kid, unboxing my PlayStation for the first time and grabbing the controller. To sit here today, and having my own special edition controller... I'm lost for words."
