Elon Musk’s Twitter, now rebranded as “X,” has lowered the ad revenue sharing requirement to 5 million impressions, probably opening doors for small creators to earn big on the platform.
What Happened: Musk’s has made a significant change that could help more creators profit from their posts.
Previously, users needed a minimum of 15 million views on their posts to join the ad revenue-sharing program.
However, now, X has lowered the bar to just 5 million views in three months.

Apart from the minimum number of impressions, the basic requirements to join the program include having a paid subscription, at least 500 followers, and being of age 18 or above.
Why It’s Important: In July this year, Musk’s social media platform started compensating its creators through the ad revenue-sharing program, with some earning up to $37,050.
Musk had hinted at the Creator Ads Revenue Sharing initiative in January, which rolled out in February to reward active tweeters for their engagement.
Twitter’s approach to creator revenue is diverse, spanning ads in replies, video pre-roll monetization, and subscription earnings.
