Homebuilder Stocks DR Horton And Lennar Get Boost From Berkshire Hathaway Share Stake

DR Horton Inc DHI and Lennar Corporation LEN shares are trading higher in the after-hours session Monday after Berkshire Hathaway (NYSE: BRK-A)(NYSE: BRK-B) took share stakes in the companies.

What To Know: According to a new regulatory filing, the Warren Buffett-led firm bought six million shares in DR Horton and 152,000 shares in Lennar.

D.R. Horton stock is up 38.30% for the year while Lennar stock is up 40.33%.

DHI, LEN Price Action: DHI stock was up 2.44% at $126.29 in the after-hours session at the time of publication while LEN stock was up 1.70% at $126.
