Former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie recently revealed that his policies aren’t tailored to specific ethnic groups when campaigning, despite the crucial Latino vote in vote-rich South Florida, Business Insider reported.
During a stop at the renowned Versailles Restaurant in Miami’s Little Havana neighborhood, Christie told Politico, “I don’t have policies tailored to particular ethnic groups. You should go and campaign everywhere, to everyone, and try to say the same thing no matter where you go — so they know you actually mean it”

Christie’s previous presidential campaign in 2016 faltered, but he had a record of winning a significant number of Latino votes when he served as Governor of New Jersey.
He first won the governor’s race in 2009 by heavily appealing to voters concerned about the economy, capturing 32% of the Latino vote. In 2013, Christie secured 51% of the Latino vote, performing even better during his reelection.
