Chris Christie Calls Vivek Ramaswamy 'Amateur' Obama: 'A Guy Who Sounds Like ChatGPT'

Republican presidential candidates Chris Christie and Vivek Ramaswamy engaged in a heated exchange over climate change during a recent debate.

The candidates were asked whether they believed human behavior is causing climate change. Ramaswamy called the climate change agenda a hoax, a statement that was met with boos from the audience, The Hill reported.

“The reality is the anti-carbon agenda is the wet blanket on our economy. More people are dying of bad climate change policies than they are of actual climate change,” Ramaswamy stated.

Christie interrupted Ramaswamy, stating, “I’ve had enough already tonight of a guy who sounds like ChatGPT,” referring to Ramaswamy’s opening line. He compared Ramaswamy to Barack Obama, calling him an “amateur.”

Ramaswamy, who positioned himself as a non-politician and representative of a younger generation, responded to Christie’s comments by asking, “Who the heck is this skinny guy with a funny last name, and what the heck is he doing in the middle of this debate stage?”
