Donald Trump Says This Candidate Won The GOP Debate Because Of A 'Thing Called The Truth'

In a recent political twist, former President Donald Trump has named tech entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy as the victor of the GOP presidential debate.

As reported by Politico on Wednesday, Trump lauded Ramaswamy for his praises during the debate. Ramaswamy, in his speech, had referred to Trump as the “best president of the 21st century”.

The former president, who had chosen to forgo the debate in lieu of a social media interview with commentator Tucker Carlson, congratulated Ramaswamy on his words.

Trump claimed, “[DO NOT REWRITE]This answer gave Vivek Ramaswamy a big WIN in the debate because of a thing called TRUTH. Thank you Vivek!”

Ramaswamy emerged as a top performer in the Milwaukee debate, frequently speaking and evading numerous attacks from other candidates.

His defense of Trump was not limited to just one instance during the debate. Ramaswamy was the first to show support for Trump when asked who would back him as the party nominee, even if Trump were to face felony charges.

The tech entrepreneur also challenged former Vice President Mike Pence, urging him to commit to pardoning Trump, a question Pence largely evaded.
