Polestar Teams Up With Mobileye To Revolutionize Autonomous Driving: What To Expect In Polestar 4

Swedish electric car brand Polestar Automotive Holding UK PLC PSNY has entered into a collaboration agreement with Mobileye Global Inc MBLY to bring autonomous technology to Polestar 4, with the potential to extend it to more vehicles.

The technology will use the Mobileye Chauffeur AV platform that will be manufactured and integrated by ECARX.

Mobileye Chauffeur will add an extra layer of on-demand convenience to Polestar's performance electric vehicles that are primarily designed for driver engagement and exciting dynamics.

Chauffeur will offer hands-off and eyes-off, point-to-point autonomous driving on highways, as well as eyes-on automated driving for other environments.

Polestar 4 will feature a Mobileye SuperVision-based advanced driver assistance system from the start.

Polestar 4 goes on sale in China today and will be available globally in 2024.
