Retailers Lagging Early (XRT, ANF, JCG, PLCE, ANN)

The Dow Jones Industrial Average is currently up 125 points, or 1.20%, to 10,576 this morning. But, somebody forgot to tell the retail stocks about today's rally. The SPDR S&P Retail ETF XRT is only slightly positive, up 15 cents, or 0.38%, to $39.56. Some select retailers are struggling to stay positive or are in the red already. Abercrombie & Fitch ANF is down 60 cents, or 1.70%, to $34.73. J. Crew JCG is down 39 cents, or 0.89%, to $43.27. The Children's Place PLCE is down 20 cents, or 0.41%, to $48.30. AnnTaylor ANN is down 1 cent, or 0.05%, to $20.49.
