A recently leaked video unmistakably highlights the introduction of an Action button in the upcoming iPhone 15 Pro, replacing the traditional mute switch.
According to Apple Insider, the video was shared by reliable leaker Sonny Dickson. Despite the absence of detailed commentary, the casing shown in the video makes clear the presence of the Action button, located above the volume controls.

This isn’t the first time rumors have surfaced about such a feature. Ever since the Apple Watch Ultra introduced the Action button, speculation about its inclusion in the iPhone has been growing.
In 2022, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo suggested that Apple Inc. AAPL would transition all controls on the iPhone 15 Pro from mechanical to solid-state buttons. Although technical issues led Apple to abandon this plan, the Action button is still expected on the upcoming device.
The new iPhone 15 range, including the iPhone 15 Pro, is set to be unveiled by Apple on September 12, 2023.
