Mustafa Suleyman, co-founder of DeepMind, predicts that everyone will have their own AI-powered personal assistants in the next five years, Business Insider reported.
Suleyman, now the CEO of tech startup Inflection AI, believes the technology will be affordable and available. He suggests these AI assistants will be highly personalized, understanding each user’s history, and aiding in daily tasks.

He envisions the AI functioning as a “chief of staff,” intimately acquainted with personal information, aligned with user interests, and assisting in information management. Suleyman’s statements come as AI technologies like OpenAI’s ChatGPT find increasing integration into everyday life.
Other tech leaders, including Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates and Apple CEO Tim Cook, have also recognized the transformative potential of AI. Suleyman sees AI as a future commodity, enhancing productivity and intelligence.
