Nintendo ADR NTDOY confirmed there are no plans for downloadable content (DLC) for The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.
Producer Eiji Aonuma explained to Famitsu the company believed it already created a fulfilling experience within the game.

"There are no plans to release additional content this time, but that's because I feel like we've done everything we can to create fun in that world," Aonuma said, according to IGN's translation.
Despite the game's considerable success both critically and commercially, selling more than 18 million units shortly after release, Nintendo seemed to be shifting its focus to a new installment in the Zelda series.
Aonuma did not rule out a potential return to the world of Breath of the Wild and Tears of the Kingdom in the future, hinting at the possibility of a third game in that universe.
"In the first place, the reason I decided to make this a sequel to the previous work was because I thought there was value in experiencing a new game in that Hyrule place," the producer explained.
"If that's the case, if a new reason arises, we might return to the same world again. Whether it's a sequel or a new work, I think it's going to be a completely new game, so I hope you're looking forward to it."
Director Hidemaro Fujibayashi expressed gratitude for players' support and promised to make the next Zelda game even more enjoyable.

In addition to the Mario Kart bundle, Nintendo will introduce two new Nintendo Switch Lite bundles on Oct. 6.
The Nintendo Switch Lite Animal Crossing: New Horizons bundle will be available in two variations: Isabelle's Aloha Edition (exclusive to Target) and Timmy & Tommy's Aloha Edition (exclusive to Walmart).
Each of these bundles, priced at $199.99, includes a Switch Lite with a new leaf design and a digital copy of Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
Nintendo does not plan to lower the price of the seven-year-old Nintendo Switch hardware.
In dialogue with IGN, Nintendo of America President Doug Bowser said: "We think the best method, and it's worked well for us in the past, has been through the bundles themselves, and by offering a software that they can engage with and get their catalog started with."
