Kristi Noem Endorses Donald Trump For 2024 Presidential Race: 'He Is The...Father That Our Country Needs'

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem on Friday publicly endorsed former President Donald Trump‘s 2024 re-election bid during a rally.

What Happened: Noem expressed her wholehearted support for Trump at the Monumental Leaders rally in Rapid City, South Dakota, The Hill reported.

“He is the leader, the father that our country needs. He has my full and complete endorsement for president of the United States of America,” she stated.

During the rally, a graphic flashed on the screen suggesting a “Trump Noem 2024” ticket, hinting at Noem as a potential running mate. When asked about the possibility of a Vice Presidential run, Noem confirmed she would “absolutely” consider it.

Trump, who headlined the rally, appreciated Noem’s endorsement, stating, “I get endorsements, some good, some bad. Some don’t mean anything. Hers means a lot.”

Why It Matters: This endorsement was not surprising, as reports had been circulating about Noem’s plans to endorse Trump, who remains the clear GOP frontrunner.
