Deutsche Bank DB was out with a client note on Visa V and MasterCard MA today. The analysts wrote, "V/MA rallied Monday on the House's compromise to interchange regs drafted as part of financial reform conf. process. Interchange is on the docket for Tuesday, and although House compromises have not yet been officially adopted, we haven't heard big oppositions from the Senate, making us optimistic that the concessions may be amenable."
Deutsche Bank said that this could potentially could be very positive for V/MA. During today's trading session, V has lost 2.10% to $79.18 and MA has gained 0.03% to $223.41.
