Stocks To Watch For April 5, 2013

Some of the stocks that may grab investor focus today are: Best Buy BBY announced its plans to feature Samsung mini-boutiques in its stores. Best Buy shares shot up 16.07% to close at $25.13 yesterday. Hewlett-Packard Co HPQ Chairman Ray Lane stepped down from his position. Ralph Whitworth, H-P's board member, replaced Lane as interim Chairman. Hewlett-Packard shares rose 1.78 % to close at $22.30 yesterday. Liquidity Services LQDT reported a rise of 18% in its March sales. Liquidity Services shares surged 11.59% to close at $32.73 yesterday. Wall Street expects Penford PENX to report its second-quarter earnings at $0.14 per share. Penford shares gained 0.48% to close at $10.44 yesterday. Exide Technologies XIDE announced its plans to stick with Lazard as its financial advisor. Exide Technologies shares dropped 47.51% to close at $1.37 yesterday.
