We just came across a picture from LinkedIn showing that the Siyata SD7 Handset’s new packing box is now co-branded with AT&T T.
Siyata Mobile Inc. SYTA is a B2B global developer and vendor of next-generation Push-To-Talk (PTT) over Cellular handsets and accessories. Its portfolio of rugged PTT handsets and accessories enables first responders and enterprise workers to instantly communicate over a nationwide cellular network of choice to increase situational awareness and save lives.
With AT&T now co-branding Siyata’s flagship SD7 Handset, it appears that this is an improved position within AT&T's product portfolio for Siyata. This development could be significant for Siyata as it means that AT&T will be promoting, pricing and selling this handset more aggressively than before – a strategy in which Siyata has seen success in emergency services industries like police departments, ambulances, hospitals and schools through its wireless operator partner FirstNet, which is also owned by AT&T.
The implications of this move are particularly significant because the SD7 PTT Handset can now be offered at more attractive pricing options to AT&T’s commercial customers, including construction companies, transportation and logistics customers, factories, warehouses, hospitality companies and more. Previously, these commercial customers would have paid full MSRP for the SD7 Handset, but with this new development, the handset can be priced more competitively – potentially allowing Siyata to fill in the current white space within the commercial market.
This update follows the July announcement of the company’s largest SD7 purchase order of approximately $1.4 million. The SD7 Handsets are approved for use by all major U.S. wireless carriers, and new orders continue to increase due to the demand for Push-to-Talk Over Cellular (PoC) Handsets. Siyata announced that its aggregate publicly announced orders at the time were worth $6.1 million.
The recent purchase order is an add-on to the string of deals Siyata Mobile has been securing throughout the year. On June 1st, 2023, for example, the company received an order for $1.2 million. Four days later, on June 5th, 2023, Siyata received orders for $400,000 in aggregate revenue for its SD7 Handsets and VK7 Vehicle Kits.
Siyata’s expanding footprint across diverse industries signifies the increasing acceptance of its PoC handsets and accessories. With a strong presence in sectors such as public safety, transportation, education, service delivery and waste management, the company has demonstrated its ability to cater to specific industry requirements.
As the demand for efficient and dependable communication solutions continues to escalate, Siyata seems poised to capture a larger market share. With its track record of delivering innovative products and addressing industry needs, the company seems well-positioned to meet the increasing demand and contribute to ongoing industry advancements.
