What's Going On With AMC Entertainment Stock Monday?

AMC Entertainment Holdings Inc AMC is trending on Monday. The company announced that Beyonce's Renaissance World Tour is coming to movie theaters worldwide in December.

What To Know: Renowned singer and songwriter Beyonce's Renaissance World Tour will be released as a theatrical concert experience by AMC Theatres Distribution in the U.S., Canada and Mexico beginning Dec. 1. Additional global viewing locations will be announced at a later date.

It's set to air on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays for a minimum of four weeks. U.S. tickets went on sale on Monday, starting at $22. The experience will also be available in Imax at AMC and Dolby Cinema at AMC, as well as other premium large screen formats.

The news comes as AMC gears up to test demand of concert-like theatrical showings with the release of pop sensation Taylor Swift's Eras Tour on Oct. 13.

The film will initially begin playing at all AMC theaters in the United States and could expand as AMC's distribution partners work to reach agreements with operators worldwide.

When tickets became available in the U.S. at the end of August, AMC said the concert film set a single day record for ticket sales revenue.
