EV giant Tesla Inc TSLA has cut prices on its Model Y and 3 vehicles in the United States, according to the company website.
What Happened: The company cut the price on its Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) and Long Range Model 3s by $1,250 and the starting price on the Performance trim by $2,250.
The Long Range and Performance trims of Model Y, meanwhile, are now priced $2000 lower.
The price of the Model Y RWD, launched earlier this week, remains unchanged at $43,990. The new vehicle is, however, priced lower than the all-wheel drive version it has replaced by $3,750.
