Hasbro HAS reported a wider first-quarter loss.
Hasbro posted a quarterly loss of $6.67 million, or $0.05 per share, versus a year-ago loss of $2.58 million, or $0.02 per share. Excluding one-time items, it earned $0.05 per share.
Its revenue climbed 2.3% to $663.7 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.04 per share on revenue of $639 million.
Its operating margin narrowed to 1.6% from 2.4%.
Hasbro shares closed at $45.02 on Friday.
