JPMorgan, Wells Fargo, Citigroup And Other Big Stocks Moving Higher On Friday

U.S. stocks traded mostly higher, with the Dow Jones gaining more than 100 points on Friday. Here are some big stocks recording gains in today’s session.

Comtech Telecommunications Corp. CMTL shares gained 30.6% to $10.63 after posting better-than-expected fourth-quarter results.

SunOpta Inc. STKL climbed 22.5% to $3.50 after the company announced the sale of certain frozen fruit assets to Nature's Touch for an aggregate purchase price of $141 million and issued preliminary Q3 results.

Hecla Mining Company HL rose 13.7% to $4.16 after Roth MKM upgraded the stock from Neutral to Buy and raised its price target from $4 to $4.40.

Viasat, Inc. VSAT gained 13.5% to $19.06.

Coeur Mining, Inc. CDE jumped 13.2% to $2.53.

Groupon, Inc. GRPN rose 13.2% to $12.38 after Roth MKM initiated coverage on the stock with a Buy rating and $30 price target.

Vertex Energy, Inc. VTNR gained 9.5% to $4.61 after the company issued an operational update for the third quarter.

Mister Car Wash, Inc. MCW rose 8.6% to $5.78 after Baird upgraded the stock from Neutral to Outperform and announced a $10 price target.

Dollar General Corporation DG surged 8.5% to $110.50 after the company updated financial guidance for FY23 and announced Todd Vasos has been appointed CEO.

First Majestic Silver Corp. AG gained 8.5% to $5.34.

DRDGOLD Limited DRD rose 8.2% to $9.21.

Apellis Pharmaceuticals, Inc. APLS gained 8% to $47.39.

Fortuna Silver Mines Inc. FSM climbed 7.8% to $2.99.

The Progressive Corporation PGR rose 7.7% to $154.27 after the company reported third-quarter results.

AeroVironment, Inc. AVAV gained 7.6% to $113.75.

MediaAlpha, Inc. MAX rose 5.7% to $9.20.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. JPM climbed 3.6% to $151.09 as the company reported better-than-expected earnings for its third quarter on Friday.

Wells Fargo & Company WFC rose 3.2% to $41.03 following third-quarter earnings.

Citigroup Inc. C gained 2.3% to $42.47. Citigroup reported third-quarter FY23 net revenue growth of 9% year-over-year to $20.14 billion, beating the consensus of $19.32 billion.
