Alleh Lindquist, CEO of FloraWorks, was a panelist on “Inside Out: The Synergy Between Cannabis and Wellness” at Benzinga’s Cannabis Capital Conference.

Lindquist talked about the importance of prioritizing proof of efficacy and clinical stage studies to better understand how cannabis can be instrumental for health issues like sleep disorders. He went on to share that he sees the medical side of cannabis growing to be a larger industry than the recreational side. Additionally, the potential HHS rescheduling will allow more research grants to be available to cannabis companies.
