Nintendo ADR NTDOY offered a glimpse of the long-awaited Switch version of Hogwarts Legacy, the action role-playing game developed by Avalanche Software and published by Warner Bros. Games, scheduled for release on Nov. 14.

The game, initially announced for Switch in March 2022, faced significant delays compared to its release on more powerful consoles such as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. The Switch version of the Harry Potter spin-off was originally slated for July 2023.

Nintendo recently shared six in-game screenshots on its website, providing a sneak peek at the game's visuals on the Switch, IGN reported.

These screenshots showcased scenes such as magical lessons at Hogwarts, moments by the Black Lake and various adversaries and creatures.

Hogwarts Legacy was warmly received on other platforms, becoming the best-selling game in February and the top-selling game of 2023 at one point, with 15 million copies sold by May, generating over $1 billion for Warner Bros. Discovery Inc WBD.

However, the game has been marred by controversy due to its connection with J.K. Rowling, who has expressed anti-transgender views.
