Vivek Ramaswamy, the only major Republican presidential candidate to publicly support legalizing marijuana and moving toward regulating access to certain psychedelics, is not unlike his friend and supporter Tesla TSLA CEO Elon Musk who has also been forthcoming about psychedelic drugs and their benefits.
Though Ramaswamy bounded into national recognition following the recent Trump-less debates, the 38-year-old tech entrepreneur has not been outspoken at those debates about his support for cannabis policy reform, unlike Musk, who has said psychedelics should be seriously considered for therapeutic uses.
In addition to the legalization of cannabis and psychedelics, Musk and Ramaswamy see eye-to-eye on the current excruciating global situation and avoiding WW III.
Musk Issues Warning
In an X open dialogue between the two men, Musk compared the United States to the NY Yankees or a sports team that has been winning championships "for so long and for so many years in a row that we have forgotten what losing even looks like.
"Over time, complacency and entitlement grow. And then you get your ass handed to you. So, the concern here is a civilizational risk it," Musk said.
What's To Be Done?
"I think, and this is not an apocalyptic statement at all but I think we need to figure out peace in Ukraine and I think we need to restore normal relations with Russia," Musk said, adding that if we don't we'll force Russia toward other allies, like China.
"Russia and China have already started doing joint military exercises I don’t know how many people are aware of this, but that should be an alarm bell," Musk said.
Ramaswamy Agreed
I reject the consensus that “winning” in Ukraine is a vital U.S. interest. It’s not. The real threat is the China-Russia alliance which we worsen every day by driving Russia further into China’s hands, yet no one is talking about it.
