Microsoft Corporation MSFT has introduced a new Xbox update that enhances user experience with its Game Pass subscription service.
Players will now receive a pop-up notification when attempting to play a game that is soon to exit Game Pass, IGN reported.
The message displays the departure date, offering players the option to add it to their wishlist to be notified of future availability or to purchase it at a 20% discount to continue playing.

The notification appears whether the game is installed on the console or played via cloud streaming, usually two weeks before the game's exit date.
Previously, Microsoft announced departing Game Pass titles in a bi-weekly blog post, alongside new additions.
This update streamlines the process, making it more convenient for users to manage their gaming library.
In November, notable additions to Game Pass include Thirsty Suitors, Football Manager 2024, and Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.
Coffee Talk, Ghost Song, and Football Manager 2023 are being taken off the list.
