Deutsche Bank June Retail Sales Preview (TJX, GPS, ANF, ROST)

Deutsche Bank has released a June sales preview for the special apparel retail sector. The analysts wrote that "for the overall industry, we believe that June sales may come in modestly better than consensus, as better weather, easier compares, a Memorial Day shift, and continued strength in home furnishings outpace a soft consumer and 'July 4th shift." For the TJX Companies TJX, Deutsche Bank is looking for comparable sales of 4%+. For The Gap GPS, they expect comps at 4.5%+, Abercrombie ANF is at 3.2%-5%. The analysts are forecasting a +6% rate at Ross Stores ROST.
