Kid Changes All iPhone App Icons To Sunflower, Mushroom, Leaf Icons — Here's How The Mom Fixed It

What will you do if your younger siblings or nieces and nephews going to preschool suddenly change the settings on your clean, sleek, and sophisticated iPhone? First, you’ll get mad, and then you will try to find a way to reverse those changes, right? That’s what this parent is trying to do.

What Happened: Over the weekend, a Reddit user on the platform shared a screenshot, complaining that their youngest has changed the icons on the eldest one’s iPhone 12 to Sunflowers, Mushrooms, and whatnot.

The user then asked if anyone knew how to change the apps back to the original icons.

Redditors were pretty helpful and suggested some quick solutions. If you or someone you know is also facing the same problem, we are here to provide you with the quickest and easiest ways to get your iPhone icons back to their original state.

Trick 1

  1. Go to Settings > General
  2. Tap on Transfer or Reset iPhone and then Reset
  3. Now, from the list of options, select Reset Home Screen Layout.

This will reset all the app icons and their arrangement. You will have to rearrange the layout manually later as per your preference.

Trick 2

  1. Create a new Home Screen by pressing and holding on to the existing one and entering the wiggle mode. After that, you have to keep sliding until the very end.
  2. Start dragging your preferred apps on the new layout and delete the previous home screen.
