What Happened: OpenAI, in its press release, has announced that applications are now open for the second cohort of its Converge initiative. The six-week program is targeted at talented researchers, engineers, designers, and product creators who are using AI to reshape the world.
The program will encompass tech talks, office hours, social events, and interactions with top AI practitioners. The participants will also secure a $1 million investment from the OpenAI Startup Fund and become members of its community of builders.

Applications are open until Jan. 26, 2024, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time. Founders from diverse backgrounds, disciplines, and levels of experience are urged to apply with a special focus on founders from underrepresented backgrounds and those based outside the United States. Prior experience with AI systems is not a prerequisite.
