2. Kaiser Aluminum Corporation KALU announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of 77 cents per share.
The dividend will be payable on Feb. 15, 2024, to stockholders as of the close of Jan. 25, 2024.
Additionally, JPMorgan analyst Bill Peterson maintained a neutral rating on Kaiser Aluminum but lowered his price target from $64 to $62.
3. Bragar Eagel & Squire, P.C., a law firm specializing in stockholder rights, is investigating the coal mining company Ramaco Resources, Inc. METC for possible violations of federal securities laws and other illegal activities.
The company’s stock rose significantly after a Wall Street Journal report suggesting its Brook Mine had up to $37 billion in rare earth elements, but a report by Wolfpack Research criticized those claims, suggesting the company can't profitably mine them and might actually lose billions.
The report also highlighted $96.3 million in stock sales by insiders since November, raising concerns about Ramaco's business practices and stockholder rights.
