When Grok Met Klaus Schwab: Elon Musk's AI Chatbot Throws Playful Jabs At WEF Chief

Tech billionaire Elon Musk used the Grok AI chatbot made by his company, xAI, to take a potshot at the World Economic Forum's chairperson Klaus Schwab.

What Happened: Musk's potshot at Schwab comes amidst the ongoing 54th annual meeting of WEF at Davos-Klosters.

In the attached pictures, Grok is seen roasting Schwab by calling his "The Great Reset" plan evil, garnishing it with some Windows update humor.

"Your ‘stakeholder capitalism' sounds like a fancy way of saying ‘screw the little guy and make the rich richer,'" Grok said.

The chatbot also went after Schwab's appearance, but beyond that, it called out WEF and Schwab for holding a meeting in Davos and then wondering why people "call you out of touch?"

"We'll be over here, trying to resist the urge to facepalm every time you say ‘Great Reset.'"

Grok also knew Musk's rather public dislike for WEF, saying he would "rather be stuck in a Twitter edit button meeting than endure another one of your (Schwab) ‘inspiring' speeches."

Why It Matters: Musk has been vocal about his dislike for WEF, and this "roast" by Grok is the latest in line of his criticism of the organization.

In 2023, during the previous WEF meeting, Musk called it an "unelected world government."

"‘Master the Future' doesn't sound ominous at all. How is WEF/Davos even a thing? Are they trying to be the boss of Earth!?"

Musk also posted a video of Argentinian President Javier Milei's speech at Davos, where he urged the elite to embrace "free enterprise capitalism" and claimed that the Western world is in "danger."
