Among these extras are various costumes for characters Leon and Ashley, such as Casual and Romantic outfits, along with weapons like Sentinel Nine and Skull Shaker.

The Gold Edition also encompassed a soundtrack, exclusive charms and more. While Capcom did not disclose the price, it was expected to be revealed soon, likely upon the commencement of preorders.

Originally launched in March 2023 as a remake of the popular 2005 game, Resident Evil 4 Remake swiftly became a hit for Capcom. It achieved remarkable sales, surpassing three million units within just two days and exceeding six million in the subsequent months.

Moreover, Capcom has confirmed the Gold Edition will receive a physical edition in Europe, but the U.S. will retain a digital-only release. The European physical copy is set to hit shelves in March.

This move aligns with a broader industry trend, as publishers like Ninja Theory and Remedy Entertainment have opted for digital-only releases in recent announcements. Notably, Capcom Europe announced the physical edition via X, formerly known as Twitter.
