Ethereum Tops $2,800 Following PPI Data; Render Emerges As Top Gainer

Bitcoin BTC/USD moved higher, with the cryptocurrency prices trading above the key $52,000 level on Friday.

Ethereum ETH/USD also recorded gains, trading above the key $2,800 mark this morning.

Render RNDR/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while Beam BEAM/USD turned out to be the biggest loser.

U.S. producer prices for final demand rose 0.3% month-over-month in January, recording the biggest rise in five months, compared to a 0.1% fall in the previous month. However, analysts were expecting a 0.1% increase in producer prices.

At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.97 trillion, recording a 24-hour gain of 0.7%. BTC was trading higher by 0.3% at $52,399 while ETH rose by around 1.4% to $2,842 on Friday.
