Ethereum ETH/USD also recorded losses, but remained above the key $3,400 mark this morning.
Axelar AXL/USD was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while SATS (CRYPTO: 1000SATS) turned out to be the biggest loser.
At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap fell to $2.3 trillion, recording a 24-hour decline of 1.5%. BTC was trading lower by 2.2% at $61,895 while ETH fell by around 3.1% to $3,404 on Friday.
