Caesars Entertainment, Inc. CZR is one of the world's largest operators in the gaming and hospitality industry with more than 50 world-class resorts across the U.S. and Canada. Its family of brands includes Caesars Palace, Harrah's, Horseshoe, Silver Legacy, Circus Circus, and Tropicana.
While Caesars is a great way to invest in gaming and hospitality, as well as the fast-growing online sports betting space, it's off limits to dividend and income investors because it does not pay a dividend.
However, there’s a hack you can use to earn a 5.6% dividend yield from Caesars, and that’s by investing in one of its largest landlords.
Here's how.
Don't Miss:
- Investing in real estate just got a whole lot simpler. This Dara Khosrowshahi-backed startup will allow you to become a landlord in just 10 minutes, and you only need $100.
- Commercial real estate has historically outperformed the stock market, but few investors have the capital or resources needed to invest in this asset class. A platform backed by industry giant Marcus & Millichap is changing that, allowing individuals to invest in commercial real estate with as little as $5,000.
VICI Properties
VICI Properties VICI owns and manages a portfolio of 93 experiential assets across the U.S. and Canada, including 54 gaming properties, which includes Caesars Palace Las Vegas, MGM Grand and the Venetian Resort Las Vegas, and 39 other properties, such as bowling alleys and golf courses.
VICI currently pays a quarterly dividend of $0.415 per share, equating to $1.66 per share annually and giving its stock a yield of about 5.6% at the time of this writing.
VICI has also shown a dedication to growing its dividend. It has raised its annual dividend payment each of the last five years, and it's on track for 2024 to mark the sixth consecutive year with an increase.
