Hulu has ordered a six-episode series called High Hopes with Jimmy Kimmel's production company Kimmelot at the helm.
The series is scheduled to premiere on Hulu this April 20 – cannabis culture’s high holiday. The business supported by Wheelhouse Entertainment is collaborating with ITV America on the production of the workplace reality series, reported The Hollywood Reporter.
The move comes as no surprise in view of Kimmel's stance on cannabis.
In honor of Snoop Dogg's birthday and his "significant contributions to the popularization of marijuana," last year Kimmel declared the rapper’s Oct. 20 birthday to be "DoggFather's Day” to be celebrated as a "new high holiday."
Now, High Hopes follows "Belarus-born brothers Slava and Mishka and their stoned crew through the trials and tribulations of taking their cannabis business to new heights," according to Disney-backed streaming media.

"As one of the oldest cannabis dispensaries in Hollywood, MMD attracts a wild mix of weed-loving customers and is a home away from home for their OG employees who work hard and smoke harder," the description continues.
