In preparation for Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, November 26, there is a tasty, plant-based, high-protein food from gardein(TM) to adorn the center of dinner plates and accompany traditional favorites like stuffing and mashed potatoes.

Flavorful and fulfilling 'gardein stuff'd turk'y roast' is available now as individual servings in the deli section of select Whole Foods Markets across the United States. The turk'y is breaded with toasted crumbs and is a combination of vegetables and plant-based proteins including soy, wheat and pea. Each roast is stuffed with dried cranberries, seasonings and long grain white and wild rices.

gardein stuff'd turk'y roast may be cooked onsite at Whole Foods Markets or prepared at home.

The cooking instructions are simple. Bake the turk'y from a frozen state at 350 degrees Fahrenheit in the oven for 25-30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches a minimum of 165 degrees. To serve, dress with a vegan gravy or cranberry sauce.

For some additional ideas that are animal and dairy free, Celebrity Chef and New York Times best-selling author Tal Ronnen has created an appetizing and fulfilling Thanksgiving dinner menu that includes:

Main course:

- Sage and Pumpkin Seed Encrusted gardein(TM) with Cranberry Cabernet Sauce

Sides:
