Aetna Announces Change to Second Quarter 2010 Results Release Date

Aetna AET today announced that its second-quarter 2010 results now will be released to the public on Tuesday evening, July 27 at 8:30 p.m. Aetna will host its conference call as originally planned, at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 28. This change is being made as a courtesy to investors, analysts and the media due to a conflict with a competitor that is also scheduled to release results at 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Aetna’s originally scheduled time. The public may access the conference call through a live audio webcast available on Aetna’s Investor Information link on the Internet at www.aetna.com. Financial, statistical and other information, including GAAP reconciliations, related to the conference call also will be available on Aetna’s Investor Information web site.
