BREAKING: Elon Musk's X Is Down, It's Not Just You

Tech billionaire Elon Musk's social media platform X, formerly Twitter, is currently down. The homepage shows a "Welcome to X!" message while posts either don't load or show media and replies.

What Happened: Musk's social media platform X is facing a downtime with many users expressing grief on rival platforms including Jack Dorsey-Backed Bluesky and Mark Zuckerberg‘s Threads

According to the downtime detection service, Downforeveryoneorjustme, issues with X began a little over 20 minutes ago. There is currently a massive spike in error reports, according to the service.

This is the second major outage at X detected this month – the last outage was on April 11, and it lasted for an hour.
